At a time when the practice of ESWL to treat urinary stone disease was growing in the Philippines, a group of urologists headed by our CEO Dr. Julius C. Cajuccom, gathered together and laid the groundwork to set up a functioning ESWL center to cater to the demand for this advanced form of stone treatment with plans of expanding the scope of treatment of other urologic diseases.
It was in 2008 that MLI was established. The company purchased a Siemens Modularis Vario ESWL machine, a state-of-the-art ESWL machine based on German technology for this purpose.
With the successful venture attained over the years, MLI purchased a second machine in 2019, a Dornier Sigma ESWL machine which until the present time has been utilized successfully by MLI's Urology staff.
Our Mission
Utilize a state-of-the-art ESWL machine that is maintained in prime, working condition. Provide out-patient/ambulatory urologic services only by Diplomates/Fellows of the Philippine Urologists Association (PUA) and complemented by Philippine Society of Anesthesiologists (PSA). Provide compassionate and personalized nursing care to ensure our patient’s well-being and safety. Educate our patients and the community in all aspects of Urolithiasis and other urologic conditions. Continuously improving our facilities and equipment to provide excellent Urologic ESWL services.
